First off i need to start proof reading before I publish because I screwed up lasts night's RFI. Instead of asking twice what pocket your phone is in, I was also interested which pocket your keys are in, but more on that in a bit.

Kinja'd!!!

so last night I was having a work party which is depressingly less fun than it sounds, it was not a party for work but my buddy coming over with a 12 pack and us working on our second jobs while we dry to drown out the reality of it with beers. We were talking with my wife who pointed out that , me a left handed person, uses my phone with my right hand and my buddy, uses his phone in his right hand but it right handed.

Kinja'd!!!

So my theory is that we had cars before we had phones. Our keys went in the pocket of our dominant hand and when we got phones, they ended up in second place. My wife thought since I use a computer mouse with my right hand that's why I use the same for my phone but that didn;t carry over to my buddy.

I got a phone at the same time as a car. I am right handed. My car keys live in my right pocket, the phone lives in my left pocket.

Ah the GT90, one of the best looking concept cars around. Ranks up there with the Shelby Cobra concept (disgracefully used in XXX - yeah we're going to launch it onto a train track and ride the bare wheels to catch a train...)

It's funny because, being only 20, I was in the opposite situation. Got a phone a few years before I could drive, and that went in my dominant (left) pocket, and my keys go in my right.

Keys in right. Phone in left. Always.

Keys and pocket knife in my right pocket since I was a kid.

I am actually RHD, but my keys are always in my left pocket so my wallet and phone are in my right. It's weird.

Ah, the GT90. I spent lots of time as a teenager staring at one of the remaining engines for that beast. The turbos are gone, but it's still collecting dust in the corner. I want to put it in a Town Car, for luxurious burnouts.

I'm old enough that I was driving before phones, so keys.

Right handed and my phone and wallet go in my left pocket along with change. Keys, jump drive, chapstick and Leatherman go in the right front. I use my phone with my left hand and a mouse with my right.

I always get pants with little pockets on the legs because that is where my flashlight (left) and pen (right) go. There is usually about 3-5 pounds worth of stuff in my pockets.

Yeah, but it also seems more logical to put your keys in the right pocket since the ignition is usually to the right of steering wheel anyway. Why take them out and then have to swap hands? The wallet went on the left side before I had keys. Take wallet out with left hand, use dominant hand to sort through it.

Well, dad told me that 3 engines were built for the program. I'm not positive exactly how it all worked out, but I distinctly remember the Lincoln Mark VIII engines being cut apart to build them and later the completed GT90 engines running on one of our dynos. Then the show car appeared and everyone said Jack Roush built the engines. Dad doesn't talk about it, so I leave it alone.

I wear shirts with a left breast pocket for my phone.

Key, as always, are in my right front pant pocket. Nothing else is in the right front pant pocket so I don't drop the keys when attempting to access the pocket.

...

I may be a little OCD about this.
